This policy covers the Not Monday iPhone app and the email signup on notmonday.app. Not Monday is operated by Khaled AlTimany. Contact: hello@notmonday.app
1. The short version
- The app has no account and no sign-in.
- What you write in the app (what you are putting off, your 5-minute start, your timing) stays on your iPhone. We never receive it.
- We collect usage statistics and subscription status, tied to a random ID. The ID is not your name, email or phone number.
- We do not track you across other companies' apps and websites, and we do not sell your data.
2. The iPhone app
2.1 Data that stays on your device
The promises you make, your check-ins, your reminder times, your progress in the 30-Day Start Program and your settings are stored on your iPhone only. Reminders and check-ins are local notifications created on your device. You can erase all of this in Settings with "Delete all my data". Deleting the app also removes it.
2.2 Data we collect from the app

We never send the text you type in the app (what you are putting off, your start, your own time cue) to our analytics or subscription tools.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, health data or advertising identifier through the app. Tapping "Contact" in Settings opens your own email app; if you write to us, we receive what you send.
2.3 Who processes it for us
- PostHog (analytics and one feature setting that controls how the paywall is shown). We use PostHog's EU cloud (eu.i.posthog.com).
- RevenueCat (subscription management and entitlement checks).
- Apple (App Store, payments, subscription management, notification delivery on your device).
They process data only to provide their services to us. Data may be transferred to and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States.
2.4 Tracking and advertising
The app contains no advertising and no advertising identifiers, and it does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission. We do not share data with data brokers. We do not combine app data with data from other companies' apps or websites to track you. Because we do not track across sites, there is no Do Not Track signal for the app to honor.
2.5 Subscriptions
Not Monday Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. You can cancel or manage it any time in your Apple Account settings or from Settings in the app. Apple's terms apply: Apple standard EULA.
3. Website signup (notmonday.app)
If you sign up for the free 7-Day Start Challenge on our website, we collect:
- Your email address.
- Whether you ticked the optional box to receive occasional tips and product news, and when.
- When you signed up, the campaign tags in the link you used (for example, which video sent you), the page that referred you and the page you signed up on.
- Technical data needed for the bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile).
- Anonymous, cookie-free page statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
We use it to send the challenge emails you asked for; if you opted in, to send occasional tips and product news; to understand which content brings people to the site; and to keep the site secure and free of spam.
Processors for the website: Loops (email delivery, United States) and Cloudflare (hosting, analytics, bot protection, worldwide).
Legal bases (EU and UK): your request (challenge emails), your consent (tips and product news, which you can withdraw at any time) and our legitimate interest in security and basic statistics.
4. How long we keep data
Website signup data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. App analytics and subscription records: for as long as needed for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete them. When you ask, we delete your data within 30 days.
5. Your choices and rights
- In the app: Settings, "Delete all my data" erases everything stored on your iPhone. It does not by itself erase the random-ID records held by our analytics and subscription providers. To delete the records our analytics and purchase providers hold for you, tap Settings › Email a deletion request in the app, or email hello@notmonday.app with the App ID shown in Settings. We complete deletion requests within 30 days.
- On the website: unsubscribe with the link in every email.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete your data: hello@notmonday.app.
- If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
- You can turn off reminders in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.
6. Children
Not Monday is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
7. Security
Data sent from the app and the website travels over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If a change affects what the app collects, we will update the App Store privacy details as well.
